But when their meeting with the city mafia--where Zane and Lance planned to discuss laundering money for them--goes sideways, Zane becomes the mafia boss' property and carries out work for him while trying to find out who set them up.

⫸ Enemies-to-lovers is one of my favourite tropes, and most of my works possess it.
⫸ Every one of my novels contains an element of fantasy, whether it be low, high, epic, dark, or literary.
